Government of Pakistan is offering scholarships to Pakistan youth for their capacity building through imparting quality education to 4500 scholars in various fields including Medicine, Engineering, Agriculture, and Management and Computer science etc. The aim of this scheme is to strengthen bilateral relationship between Pakistan and Pakistan and further it will enhance people to people contacts between both neighbouring states. 4500 Pakistan Scholarship Covers Living Allowance, Book Allowance, and Hostel Dues & University Tuition fee.

- To establish professional linkages between the sister institutions of the two countries.
- To promote human resource development for reconstruction of Pakistan
- To develop people to people contacts between the two neighbouring countries
- To create Pakistan's goodwill among the people of Pakistan and to establish professional linkages between institutions of the two countries.
- To provide an opportunity to Pakistani universities to attract the students of neighbouring countries for quality education.
- ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Pakistan national with strong academic background are encouraged to apply. The applicants must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
Undergraduate:
Applicants should have completed 12 years or equivalent education.
The age limit is 17-23 years before closing date of application.
60 % Marks for general subjects as per IBCC Pakistan equivalency formula.
65% Medical & Engineering subjects
MS/M.Phil
35 Years maximum age limit at date of applications closing.
Candidates must have completed 16 years of education.
Minimum 2.5 CGPA or equivalent out of 4.0 is required in Bachelor's/Mater's degree (16 years of education)
PhD:
The age limit is 35 years for non-faculty members and 40 years of faculty members.
Candidates must have 18 years of education.
A minimum 3.0 CGPA out of 4.0 is required in MS/MPhil degree.
IMPORTANT NOTE- Award of scholarship is merit-based.
- Awardees will sign a legal agreement with the Government of Pakistan to complete their education and return to Pakistan after completion of degree education in Pakistan.
- Shortlisting will be based on academic credentials and Aptitude Test (by HEC) / Selection Interview.
- Applicants who are already availing or have availed any other HEC/ Government of Pakistan's scholarship, are not eligible to apply.
- Applicants must have acquired requisite academic qualification on or before closing date.
- Applicants having a foreign qualification must provide equivalence certificate from IBCC Pakistan/HEC Pakistan to the respective University.
- This Scholarships does not cover MS/PhD in Clinical Medical Sciences.
- For admission to PhD degree, applicant must have studied the same subject in MS/MPhil.
- Students will be allowed to sit for examinations only on provision of proper ID i.e. Original Passport/Electronic Tazkira.
- Application will be received online only and printed or hard copies will not be entertained.
- Applicants are strongly advised to check their email and HEC website regularly for updates and are required to apply well before the closing date to get assistance in case of any inconvenience.
- HEC reserves right to postpone or cancel scholarship process at any stage without assigning any reason.
