REGION HISTORY
Regional campus Faisalabad is established in 1979 in industrial city and shifted to its state of art building in2007 at Millta town Faislabad. It has five Tehsils Jaranwala, Tandlianwala, Samundri, Chak Jhumra and Faisalabad. Its land area is 12.74 K, covered area is 124.4/2, 83-6. Faisalabad Region has 10 study centers. Employee serving in regional campus are 22.8891 registered tutors associated with regional campus. As per enrollment for Semester spring 2022 is 20056 and 37 examination centers are established under RC. Computer lab, Library, Video Conferencing room and E-Class room are available for students.
Allama Iqbal Open University Regional Campus Faisalabad facilitates the students through help desk, Online admission facility for fresh and continuing students is available. For sale of prospectus sale points are established at district and tehsil level. Accounts department work through the ERP system, Faisalabad deals ERP as Hub Region and regional centers Jhang, Mianwali and Sargodha are sub regions. Students support facility to provide to the needy, orphan, transgender, jail inmates and disable students. LMS focal person is available to solve the student’s problem regarding online assignments submission and online workshops. Tutor allocation facility is available in Faisalabad Region. Conducted Exams and Paper marking activity held in Regional Campus Faisalabad as well. Face to face workshop of B.Ed. programme course code 8606,8607 and 8608 conducted at study centers in Faisalabad.
